Hello and welcome to my visual world! I think I’ve always been a photographer, long before becoming a professional one. I learned photography on the field, after graduating from a business school, and started working in photo agencies in 1997 where I learned a lot about the desk & lab works. Being sporty myself and loving sports in general I chose that environment to start working and haven’t really left it since my early days. I worked in French agencies (Flash Press/DPPI & Presse Sport/ L’Equipe) and then moved overseas to start my career as a freelance photographer.

Despite the fact that I was born in Paris, I think of myself as International more than French. With Vietnamese origins and having lived in different countries since my childhood, it was obvious to me that I had to discover another part of the world to start my freelance career. I left for NZ where I stayed 2 and ½ years. I covered subjects such as the America’s Cup, the All Blacks and discovered the gorgeous landscapes, the Maori culture as well as some other nearby countries. Coming back to Europe, I kept covering sailing and the America’s Cup, in Spain and all over Europe.

At some point I decided to extend my work to photojournalism, news and features as well as portrait photography. I moved to Vancouver in summer 2009 and stayed there until oct 2010, mainly covering the Winter Olympic Games and still focusing on my portrait photography. During that time, I worked with AFP (Agence France Presse) and other publications in Canada and France.

I am soon moving back to Canada where I’ll settle for a little while, and will divide my time between North America & Europe.

I love a variety of things in photography and enjoy shooting street photography & photojournalism as well as portrait and behind-the-scene features. I like sport’s photography in a tell-someone’s-story sort of way. I also do private & professional events and corporate photography.
